Description
I remember one day being inside a bus, listening music with my mp3 player (Pagan Poetry by Björk to specify). Suddendly all this beautiful ideas came up to my hand. I remember reading that Björk asked for some crystal music boxes for her album "Vespertine", because she wanted a "freeezer" sound and I thought about painting a ballerina, but instead of a porcelain one, a human one. So, this is dedicated to her album "Vespertine" and those lights around the ballerina represent the movement and the "freeze" sound. I also wanted to give those classical fairy tale feeling (that's why I did not add skin tone variations) and the ballerina is supposed to be inside a music box. Yeah, that is a painted wall in the background. I hope you like. Done entirely in Adobe Photoshop.

I especially like the hands and face, They are very well done and detailed.
The thing I don't like as much is the ground where she's standing. does not seem obvious what it is.
But great painting !

Dejanira: Thanks for advice, I didn't notice about it.
Crazyboy: It was something quick, I do things desperately sometimes, thanks a lot!
Daykan: Thank you!
Diane: Ooh dear, the background is a sketch on a wall, that's why I didn't detail so much. About the colours, my intention was to do a more fairy tale feel. Thanks anyway!

I have to paint some sort of ballet dancer for a client and so far have collected some refs but have no ideas yet how to picture it good.
However! It's a lovely pose and you have well rendered her.
She has some little anatomy errors with her arms and legs but it's not that bad that the painting wouldn't be working

Saludos!
